I wanted to show you a bit about why we created our summer checking out program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.
Over the years of mentor in my personal knowing center, parents would bring their kids to me that lagged in reading and spelling.

In some cases they were just a little bit behind, sometimes they were way behind, and often they were at grade level and simply wished to advance faster.
Sometimes this was because the students had finding out difficulties like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was just because the instructors did not teach all of the particular abilities needed to read.

The program does take some participation from a parent for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, many kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
